Member Spotlight: Russian Photographers Marina and Artem

Our member spotlight of the week is Marina and Artem, photography team based in Russia.
ASTONISH: How did you two meet? And what inspired you to start Photoma in 2009?
MARINA: Oh, it was a very romantic story. We got acquainted about five, six years ago, studying at one school. When I first saw Artem, I fell in love at first sight. Fate brought us together on New Year’s Eve, 2006. When the Kremlin chimes rang at midnight, I made a wish for us to be together. Since that time, we have never separated. We went to university, lived and worked together. We set goals together and join forces to achieve them. As for shooting, I wished to be a photographer when I was a child. I always liked to take pictures of my dolls dressed up in unusual ways on my Polaroid camera. It was freaking interesting! I would spend a whole day like that. Artem also liked shooting since childhood.
