Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week: Badgley Mischka Spring/Summer 2013 Collection

Design duo Mark Badgley and James Mischka (both Parsons The New School of Design alumni) has captivated the fashion world in the past two decades with glamorous, stylish and wearable evening wear and accessories that caters to a young, modern couture customer, without forsaking women of any age. Their style is inspired by Hollywood 1940's glam, which is simple, streamlined and thoroughly elegant. The inspiration for Badgley Mischka Spring/Summer 2013 Collection is from the 1935 “A Midsummer’s Night Dream” movie (think amazing Shakespearean fantasy with magical sets and costumes), in which their designs were showed flowing and glittering romanticism.
